As an Associate at NAI Hallmark, Sydney Miles supports the firm’s office leasing team with a focus on landlord representation. With a strong connection to Jacksonville and an appreciation for the growth happening across Northeast Florida, Sydney brings enthusiasm and attention to detail to her role each day. She works closely with brokers, tenants, and team members to ensure each property is positioned for success, while continuing to grow her knowledge and contribute to the firm’s long-term goals. Your title with NAI Hallmark is Associate. Tell us about your role within the company.

I am an Office Leasing Associate specializing in landlord representation, where I support and help maintain our current portfolio of office assets. I focus on keeping our properties active in the market by engaging with brokers, tenants, and the community to drive interest and bring new eyes to the buildings. My day-to-day includes coordinating tours, managing tenant and broker communication, organizing marketing materials, and making sure each asset has the information and attention it needs to perform at its best. As I continue to grow in my role, I look forward to contributing to the expansion of our portfolio and helping bring new opportunities into the firm over time.

Where are you from?

I’m originally from Louisville, KY, and I moved to Jacksonville, FL when I was young—I proudly consider JAX my home!

Share one thing you love about Northeast Florida and the community.

You really get the best of both worlds in Northeast Florida—one morning you can take a walk on the beach, and by lunchtime you’re exploring the streets of downtown JAX and seeing all the new development happening around the city. After graduating from USF, I didn’t hesitate to move back to Jacksonville—I knew this city, and the people in it, are what truly make it feel like home.

Favorite side of town (Riverside, San Marco, Beaches, Nocatee etc.)

My favorite part of town is Riverside. There is so much being developed, and it’s right next to downtown!

Favorite restaurant around town.

That’s a tough one! If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Valley Smoke in Ponte Vedra Beach (highly suggest the grilled cheese, add brisket).

Do you have a favorite sports team?

I’m a huge college football fan—can I get a “Go Bulls”?!

Favorite day of the work week,

Unpopular opinion: Monday is actually my favorite day of the week. I look forward to the opportunities the coming week brings, and I get to collaborate with my team first thing in the morning!

What do you enjoy most about working with your fellow NAI Hallmark team members?

Every transaction in this industry is unique, and there’s always something new to learn. My team is not only incredibly experienced but also generous with their insights, and I enjoy soaking up all the knowledge I can from them. Their guidance inspires me to grow and tackle each opportunity with confidence and creativity.
