Your title with NAI Hallmark is Client Relationship Manager. Tell us about your role within the company.

I lead our new business development efforts while making sure we’re delivering on every promise we’ve made to existing clients. That balance keeps me busy in the best way. NAI Hallmark provides concierge-level property management and accounting services, and my job is to be that liaison who makes things happen before anyone has to ask. Proactive by nature, reactive when needed. On the property management side, I still carry about 175,000 square feet under my direct management, primarily retail and medical office buildings, which keeps me genuinely plugged in to the day-to-day realities of the PM world. I think that hands on experience makes me a better relationship manager, because I’m not just talking about what we do, I’m living it.

Where are you from?

I grew up in Ocean City, Maryland, a true beach town, so moving to Northeast Florida felt like coming home in a lot of ways. I started my career as a researcher with CoStar Group, built experience through property management roles with Riverstone Properties, and planted roots in Jacksonville in 2023. Haven’t looked back since.

Share one thing you love about Northeast Florida and the community.

You have everything within reach here. Fine dining, laid-back seafood shacks, world-class beaches, and a community that genuinely looks out for one another. Professional sports, the Jags, the Icemen, and the Jumbo Shrimp, plus world-class golf with the Players Championship right in our backyard, there is always something going on. I grew up on the water and I’m a beach town person to my soul, so the year-round outdoor lifestyle and the people here just fit. Jacksonville has a way of surprising you with how much it has to offer.

Favorite side of town (Riverside, San Marco, Beaches, Nocatee etc.)

The Beaches, no question. Atlantic Beach, Neptune, Ponte Vedra. Growing up on the Maryland coast, being near the water isn’t optional for me, it’s just how I’m wired.

Favorite restaurant around town.

Depends on the occasion, but 14 Prime, Oku, and Safe Harbor Seafood are my go-tos. Each one hits differently, but all three deliver every time.

Do you have a favorite sports team?

Where do I even start? Washington Commanders, Baltimore Orioles, and Washington Capitals are in my blood, Maryland-born and raised. I’ve adopted the Jaguars as my second NFL team since moving here, so I’m living that dual fan life. Beyond traditional sports, I’m deep into motorsports, F1, IndyCar, and IMSA are must-watches for me. And I always keep an eye on Old Dominion University athletics from my alma mater.

Tell us about a current hobby that you spend time pursuing.

My favorite hobby right now is being a dad and soaking up every moment with my growing family. That usually means we’re on the move, traveling whenever we can and making the most of life in a city that makes it so easy to be outside year round. Every stage goes fast, so we try to be present for all of it.

Everyone has unique talents and skills. What is one that most people would not guess about you?

Through college and for a stretch after graduating, I worked as a DJ. It started as a way to make extra money in school and honestly snowballed into something I genuinely loved. Not exactly what people picture when they think commercial real estate, but it taught me how to read a room, and that skill comes in handy more than you’d think in client relationships.

Favorite day of the work week.

Wednesday. By midweek the momentum has built, priorities are locked in, and you can really feel things moving. There’s an energy to Wednesday that I thrive on.

What do you enjoy most about working with your fellow NAI Hallmark team members?

The caliber of people here is something I didn’t take for granted from day one. Everyone brings a different background and expertise to the table, which makes collaboration genuinely valuable. There’s a culture of working hard and looking out for one another that I think is rare, and it shows up in everything we do for our clients every day.

Any exciting news you’d like to share?

We’re expecting our second son this July, so the Bankert household is about to get a little louder and a lot more fun. We also just moved into Seven Pines, so between a new neighborhood and a new baby on the way, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year!
